Fishing is a very popular local and tourist activity. The Lake Cathie Fishing Club holds regular outings and competitions followed by weigh-ins at the Club. Great prizes are on offer.

The Club caters for a wide range of ages with Junior, Senior, Mens and Ladies Divisions.

Members also enjoy fishing weekends away and inter-club visits with Narrabeen. A special kids' camp is held each year.

The Lake Cathie Social Golf Club has enjoyed a successful second year and the friendly atmosphere ensures that it will continue to grow.

Golf trips are organised every three weeks to great golf courses across the Mid North Coast. A full yearly program can be found on the golf club noticeboard.
